The Place: Paris
Art Hotel Eiffel
This cozy hotel right in the heart of Paris was as comfy as it was practical. Art Hotel Eiffel showed us the charm that Rick Steves guarantees while being withing walking distance to some of the best landmarks in Paris. Some of their rooms even had a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower! This beautiful hotel was all that I could ever wish to stay at and more. Hopefully, when I make it back to Paris someday, I will be able to stay here again. Rick Steves' tours knew how to find the best hotels in every city we stayed in, and this hotel was no exception.

The Place: Burgundy
Why Burgundy?
- Burgundy is home to Guedelon, a castle that is being built just how castles were constructed in medieval times.
- Burgundy is super relaxing. After so many nights in the city, Burgundy is the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate.
- Burgundy is the perfect place to experience rural France. With all of the beautiful nature, Burgundy is an ideal place to see the best of the French countryside.
Hotel Les Grands Chenes
This hotel was my favorite hotel on the tour. It's homey feel and countryside charm had me falling in love with it immediately. It has beautiful, cozy rooms, a heated pool, and amazing grounds that are fun to explore. Close by, a beautiful lake sparkles in the sunshine, begging you to take a swim . Everything about Hotel Les Grands Chenes was built for comfort. I will make sure to go back to it someday, because it made my stay in Burgundy absolutely perfect.
