The Louvre
The day started off with a trip to the Louvre. This massive museum had amazing pieces of art from all over the world. Even though I don't usually have fun at museums, the Louvre was amazing! It had art from all the artists I had learned about at school! The Louvre helped me learn to really appreciate great art. After a quick lunch at the food court in the Louvre, we were off to Burgundy, a welcome escape to the countryside.

Arriving in Paradise
After a short, three hour long bus ride, we had arrived in paradise. No, Burgundy does not have palm trees or sandy beaches, but it had a quaint hotel for rest and relaxation, beautiful wildflowers, and a perfect lake to take a dip in while the warm sun beams down. After spending five nights in some of the busiest cities in Europe, Burgundy was the perfect way to relax and breathe in some fresh, country air. The first night in Burgundy was the perfect bonding experience. I played cards, ate dinner, and wandered the grounds with my best friends from the tour. After we had played outside for a few hours, we were called in for a buffet style dinner. The food was amazing and the entertainment was even better. A jolly accordionist came to our hotel in the quaint dining room and played songs for us while we ate. I had never heard an accordion before, so it was really a treat to have such an amazing player perform for our group. After a fantastic meal, the kids went outside to play some more games. We soon found ourselves gathered around together in a circle, tossing around a Frisbee. After a wonderful night of bonding with my friends, I went to bed, my heart overflowing with joy.
